Obituary
Millard Blair, 80, retired merchant and farmer of Leander, died at his home at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 1858, after an illness of several weeks. The son of Wallace and Margaret Hitchcock Blair, he was born in this county September 6, 1878, and had resided at Leander most of his life. He was a member of the United Baptist Church. His first marriage was to Lou Ellen O’Bryan, who preceded him in death, His widow, Dora Mary Blair, survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mervin L. Williams, Oil Springs, and Mrs. Herbert Blanton, Wid. Funeral services were conducted from the Beechwall United Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, with Prate Blair, F. F. Ragsby and Millard O’Bryan as officiating ministers. Burial was in the Patrick Cemetery at Leander. PAINTSVILLE HERALD TUESDAY JULY 2, 1958
