Obituary
Bruce Blair, 79, died Feb 23 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Blair was born Feb 27, 1905, in Johnson County, the son of A. J. and Rosa May Blair. He was a resident of Leander and a retired farmer. His wife, Edna Goble Blair, preceded him in death in 1976. Surviving are two sons, Hubert Blair of Sandusky, OH, and Donald Blair of Roanoke, VA; two daughters, Ina Spangler of Vinton, VA and Yvonne Pendleton of Roanoke; a brother and sister, Guy and Gail Blair of Leander; ten grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Feb 25 in Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Spangler officiating. Burial was in Rivers Cemetery at Leander. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, February 27, 1985
