Obituary
Shirley Blair, 90, died July 5 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus, OH. Mrs. Blair was born January 31, 1897 in Johnson County, the daughter of James and Mary Fairchild Lambert. She was a member of United Baptist Church. Her husband, Elder Furman Blair, preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Turrell Blair of Barnetts Creek, two daughters, Mary Caudill of Mt. Sterling, OH, and Valeria Tackett of Columbus, OH; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, July 8, at 11 a.m. in Little Paint United Baptist Church, Oil Springs, with Lonza Reed, James Blair and Eugene May officiating. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery at Barnetts Creek with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, July 8. 1987
